Okavango Delta:

Largest inland delta in the world. Known for the mokoros (game viewing by traditional dugout canoes) and open vehicle safari drives. Other species seen in the delta include lion, rhino, leopard, giraffe, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and countless species of bird.

Chobe National Park:

Famous for its massive herds of elephants & hippos among other animals such as buffalo, zebra, crocodiles, giraffe, impala, puku, etc.

This morning you are driven to Johannesburg Airport. Fly to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Upon arrival, you are met and taken on a privately guided tour of Victoria Falls.  

Here you will have the opportunity to see the cloud of spray where the Upper Zambezi plummets 300 feet into the lower Zambezi; this same mist can be seen from miles away. The falls’ average flow is an awe-inspiring 120 million gallons per minute; the deafening roar of the flowing water makes conversation all-but-impossible.

Afterwards, you are taken overland to Chobe, Botswana.

The Chobe River forms the northern boundary of the Chobe National Park, renowned for its diverse and abundant game viewing opportunities. This section of the park is best known for its dense concentration of wildlife including elephant and hippo populations, but the waters attract all manner of game including large herds of buffalo and the lions that prey on them. A visit to this area guarantees close encounters with an array of African wildlife. Visitors can look forward to some exciting activities such as: driving along the game-dotted riverbanks in a 4WD; cruising along the river in a motorboat, spotting rare birdlife and for a unique, luxury safari experience, hire a houseboat.

Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero is a luxurious retreat in the heart of the bush, located on the edge of Chobe National Park, the second largest national park in Botswana, where some 80,000 elephants roam. From the lodge’s hilltop position, guests can enjoy far reaching panoramic views over the Chobe River and floodplain below. The main public area includes a lounge, library, and dining room, which are linked to outdoor viewing patios. Today you are flown to the Okavango Delta. Upon arrival, you are met and driven to your camp. Enjoy your afternoon safari drive. Situated in the northwestern corner of Botswana, the Okavango Delta is a World Heritage Site as it is the largest inland delta in the world. The magnificent Okavango River sprawls out over the dry sands of the Kalahari Desert forming this flourishing waterlogged oasis featuring countless meandering waterways and crystal-clear lagoons studded with water lilies, as well as fertile floodplains and reeded islands inhabited with abundant wildlife. The Okavango Delta stretches over 15000 square kilometers. Visitors can enjoy several wonderful activities such as game viewing, fishing, bird watching or taking an authentic guided Mokoro excursion through this wetland paradise in a traditional dugout canoe. Commonly spotted animals include lion, rhino, leopard, giraffe, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and countless species of bird. Located just outside of Moremi Game Reserve, deep in the Okavango Delta, lies Mapula Lodge. Boasting 9 luxury chalets with unique and quirky locally handcrafted furnishings the atmosphere is natural and earthy. Today you are flown to Khwai Private Reserve. On arrival, you are met and taken on an afternoon game drive. Khwai Private Reserve is 440 000 acres bordering onto both the Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park in northern Botswana. Deposit per person required at time of booking: A deposit of 25% of the program price is required at the time of booking. Final payment is due 120 days prior to departure. If your reservation is made within 120 days of departure, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of the request to secure confirmation.


Cancellations must be received in writing and will become effective on the date of e-mail receipt. Cancellations received by Emmarosh are subject to the following:


121 days prior to departure (or more): 10% of the program price per person.
120-91 days prior to departure: 20% of program price

90-61 days prior to departure: 50% of program price

60 days prior to departure (or less): 100% of the program price

Changes to the Itinerary:

The guest will be responsible for any changes or cancellations made to the itinerary at their request or beyond their control, before or during travel, including expenses incurred due to a change, delay or cancellation of any flights. If a guest cancels or leaves a journey and a roommate remains, an additional supplement may apply to the price for the remaining guest.


All internal air is 100% non-refundable at time of final payment (some exceptions may apply).


Additional hotel nights and other extra services booked in connection with Emmarosh programs are subject to specific cancellation penalties.
