Serengeti Game Reserve:

Serengeti is a vast area and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is famous for its largest concentration of migratory game animals in the world. Serengeti has large lion population, leopards, wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, cheetah, spotted hyena, giraffe, buffalo and much more. It is best known as the site of the “The Greatest Wildlife Show on Earth”.

Ngorongoro Crater:

The largest unflooded / intact caldera in the world. Known as the 8th Wonder of the World. Believed by some to be the proverbial Garden of Eden. Ngorongoro Crater is considered to have the largest concentration of permanent animals in all of Africa. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Animals seen here include black rhino, hippos, cape buffalo, hyena, lions, elephants, leopard, Thomson’s gazelle etc.

Tarangire Game Reserve:

One of the most scenic reserves in Africa. It is known for its large herds of elephants and buffalos and its large number of baobab trees. Other animals commonly seen here are such as eland, giraffe, oryx, zebra, and wildebeest. Also, lion, leopard, cheetah, spotted hyena and African wild dog, hartebeest, gazelle etc.

Olduvai Gorge:

Site of many famous archaeological discoveries including the estimated 1.75-million-year-old Zinjanthropus boisei fossil discovered by Dr. Mary Leakey.


Welcome to Tanzania! Today you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, Tanzania. On arrival, you are met by the representative of Emmarosh Travel and driven to your accommodations. Resting at the foot of Mount Meru, the sprawling city of Arusha is known as the safari capital of northern Tanzania. It serves as an excellent base from which to explore the remarkably scenic surrounding area which includes majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as the Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro National Parks. Arusha is a good spot to take a day or two off from the safari circuit as it features a temperate climate and lush surrounds. Visitors can look forward to exploring the wildlife-abundant Serengeti National Park; the magnificent Arusha National Park; and taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Meru, Africa’s fifth highest mountain. Located in a verdant coffee plantation, Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge is a sanctuary of aromatic tranquility and a welcome retreat after a long international flight, or the dust and excitement of a thrilling bush safari.   Reminiscent of traditional plantation houses, 30 wooden chalets with spacious, airy, and modern interiors are nestled amongst the surrounding gardens and coffee trees.   Turning off the road, a tree-lined driveway guides you to the warm and inviting main area with its quiet understated aura of luxury. Today you will be flown to Tarangire. On arrival, you are met and assisted to your accommodations. Enjoy your afternoon safari drive. Tarangire National Park, situated within Tanzania’s spectacular Manyara Region, is an awe-inspiring national park comprising of granite ridges, river valleys, mixed vegetative landscapes, and free-roaming wildlife. During the annual dry season, the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty wildlife. Large herds of elephants and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland gather and not surprisingly the predators follow. With lion being among the most spotted animal, it is a rare day that a visitor does not spot this majestic animal prowling or grazing. Tarangire is also the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as oryx and gerenuk are seen regularly. This expansive area is also known for its spectacular baobab trees, its breathtaking views of the Masaai Steppe and the wondrous mountains to the south. In the heart of Maasai country and a remote corner of the Tarangire, in total seclusion amongst giant acacia trees and looking out beyond the flat savannah, Sanctuary Swala offers a very exclusive safari experience. Enjoy your final morning game drive in Tarangire. You are then driven to the Gibb’s Farm for lunch and activities of your choice. The list of activities available at no additional cost are village bicycle tour, mountain bicycle adventure and garden, forest, and medicinal walk. Another option is to simply stay on the premise and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Afterwards, you are taken to your lodgings. Depart overland for Serengeti via Oldupai Gorge Museum. After the visit at the museum, continue to Serengeti. On arrival you are taken on an afternoon safari drive. The rich acacia-dotted plains of the Eastern Serengeti are home to abundant wildlife. Visitors flock here to view the world-renowned wildebeest migration. Some of the best game-viewing can be enjoyed from Lobo on the eastern edge of the Serengeti National Park along the Grumeti River. Popular activities include taking a guided walk through the spectacularly scenic terrain of the wild Serengeti, jumping on a hot air balloon safari, picnics in the bush, and learning about Maasai culture and history. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the world-famous Gol Kopjes for the best cheetah viewing in Africa. Today you are taken to Seronera Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Arusha. On arrival, you are met and taken to the cultural heritage curio shop before being driven to your dayroom. Later, you are taken to the airport to board your departing international flight.

Deposit per person required at time of booking: A deposit of 25% of the program price is required at the time of booking. Final payment is due 120 days prior to departure. If your reservation is made within 120 days of departure, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of the request to secure confirmation.


Cancellations must be received in writing and will become effective on the date of e-mail receipt. Cancellations received by Emmarosh are subject to the following:


121 days prior to departure (or more): 10% of the program price per person.
120-91 days prior to departure: 20% of program price

90-61 days prior to departure: 50% of program price

60 days prior to departure (or less): 100% of the program price


The guest will be responsible for any changes or cancellations made to the itinerary at their request or beyond their control, before or during travel, including expenses incurred due to a change, delay or cancellation of any flights. If a guest cancels or leaves a journey and a roommate remains, an additional supplement may apply to the price for the remaining guest.


All internal air is 100% non-refundable at time of final payment (some exceptions may apply).


Additional hotel nights and other extra services booked in connection with Emmarosh programs are subject to specific cancellation penalties.
