Welcome to Tanzania! Today you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, Tanzania. On arrival, you are met by the representative of Emmarosh Travel and driven to your accommodations. Resting at the foot of Mount Meru, the sprawling city of Arusha is known as the safari capital of northern Tanzania. It serves as an excellent base from which to explore the remarkably scenic surrounding area which includes majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as the Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro National Parks. Arusha is a good spot to take a day or two off from the safari circuit as it features a temperate climate and lush surrounds. Visitors can look forward to exploring the wildlife-abundant Serengeti National Park; the magnificent Arusha National Park; and taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Meru, Africa’s fifth highest mountain. Today you will be flown to Tarangire. On arrival, you are met and assisted to your accommodations. Enjoy your afternoon safari drive. Tarangire National Park, situated within Tanzania’s spectacular Manyara Region, is an awe-inspiring national park comprising of granite ridges, river valleys, mixed vegetative landscapes, and free-roaming wildlife. During the annual dry season, the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty wildlife. Large herds of elephants and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland gather and not surprisingly the predators follow. With lion being among the most spotted animal, it is a rare day that a visitor does not spot this majestic animal prowling or grazing. Tarangire is also the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as oryx and gerenuk are seen regularly. This expansive area is also known for its spectacular baobab trees, its breathtaking views of the Masaai Steppe and the wondrous mountains to the south. In the heart of Maasai country and a remote corner of the Tarangire, in total seclusion amongst giant acacia trees and looking out beyond the flat savannah, Sanctuary Swala offers a very exclusive safari experience. Enjoy your final morning game drive in Tarangire. You are then driven to the Gibb’s Farm for lunch and activities of your choice. The list of activities available at no additional cost are village bicycle tour, mountain bicycle adventure and garden, forest, and medicinal walk. Another option is to simply stay on the premise and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Afterwards, you are taken to your lodgings. Ngorongoro Crater is considered the largest unflooded / intact caldera in the world. Known as the 8^th Wonder of the World. Believed by some to be the proverbial Garden of Eden. Ngorongoro Crater is considered to have the largest concentration of permanent animals in all of Africa. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Animals seen here include black rhino, hippos, cape buffalo, hyena, lions, elephants, leopard, Thomson’s gazelle and much more. Poised adjacent to the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro is a grand mansion that exudes old-world charm in north-west Tanzania. Today you are taken to Seronera Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Arusha. On arrival, you are met and taken to the cultural heritage curio shop before being driven to your dayroom. Later, you are taken to the airport to board your departing international flight.
