The Terms and Conditions herein apply to all programs offered on the Emmarosh Travel website. The traveling restrictions are from 01st January 2020 to 31st December 2020. In future years, the bookings may use similar terms and conditions until they are updated or adjusted.
Customers will be notified of any changes in the terms and conditions.
Inclusive of every journey
- All accommodations presented in the itinerary;
- All indicated transfers;
- All meet and greet from arrival to departure day per program;
- Bottled water;
- English-speaking local tour operators and guides for every game drives, touring, etc.;
- Entrance and park fees for game-viewing, sight-seeing, touring activities;
- Hotel service fee;
- Hotel taxes;
- Meals (“B” for breakfast, “L” for lunch, and “D” for dinner);
- Shared or private vehicle for all included activities specified as per the program;
- Top-class guiding services for every trip and excursion;
- Train rides, gorilla trekking experience, boat rides, and other activities are shared experiences unless explicitly mentioned in the program;
- Two-piece luggage porterage per person.
Exclusive of every journey
Any kind of air transportation (local or international) unless specified in the planned journey. For every program, internal flights are separately quoted in the pricing section and are to be added to the final cost.
- All gratuities;
- Anything not included in the above section;
- Beverages and drinks not included in the above section;
- Border fees.
- Excess baggage charges;
- Meals instead of those mentioned in the journey plan;
- Optional activities dependent upon availability;
- Personal items – alcoholic beverages, phone calls, etc. – uncles mentioned in the journey plan;
- Room service;
- Taxes for airline departure unless if noted;
- Trip cancellation insurance
- Visas, passports, or other essential documents essential to enter the destination.
Country-specific terms and conditions
Safari vehicles are shared except if indicated in the journey plan. The Okavango Delta and Chobe River boat rides are additionally shared.
The Makoro ride – traditional dugout canoe game viewing – requires individual agility for participation. If you do not use the makoro ride, you can select a vehicle game drive as an alternative.
Egypt is a vibrant and functioning destination. In the morning, Upper Egypt flights are operated unless otherwise indicated in your journey plan.
Abu Simbel journeys or River Nile excursions are carried on a common premise, and different visitors may join the tours.
For specific River Nile excursions, traditional sailboats may be used to enhance your experience.
Ethiopia is a highly active destination. Accommodations and facilities outside Addis Ababa are fundamental and rustic. Likewise, accommodations and facilities in the Omo Valley are significantly essential.
Israel is also considered as the most active destination. Uneven cobblestone terrain trekking is provided; the waiting queues may be long for pilgrims or tourists visiting Holy sites.
This is one of the most active destinations. A visit to Little Petra/Petra requires moderate to excessive trekking to arrive at the ruins or monasteries.
Except if explicitly specified, Kenya’s safari vehicles are shared.
Booked internal flights may stop at different hotels, lodges, or camps to get and drop off travelers.
Madagascar is found to be a very adventurous destination. In Madagascar, the accommodations and facilities can be very rustic and raw, relying upon the location’s area.

Unless specified, safari vehicles are shared. Scheduled air transportation may make several stops to different lodges and camps to pick-up or drop passengers to the site.
Internal flights (scheduled) may make several landings at different lodges, cabins, and camps to get and drop off travelers.
In Northern Tanzania, safari vehicles are usually private, except if indicated in the program. In Southern Tanzania, vehicles used to visit Ruaha National Park and Selous are shared.
On average, only six passengers are allowed onboard the shared vehicles.
Passengers or guests traveling to Abu Dhabi or any of its provinces outside Dubai are instructed to dress appropriately, respecting the country’s cultural norms and standards.
Once purchased, chimps and gorilla permits are not transferrable or refundable. Clients are suggested to get themselves trip cancellation insurance for money protection under any instances of cancellations.
At certain morning/afternoon hours, internal flights are operated to take advantage of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest’s impulsive weather conditions. This destination/journey may include longer drives.
Being an active destination, gorilla trekking in Uganda needs a high level of fitness and agility. Please consult the experts at Emmarosh Travel to gain a better understanding of these aspects.
The Victoria Falls may be witnessed from either the Zambian or the Zimbabwean side. Because walking tour of the falls is an active experience, passengers should remain to prepare for long walks. Passengers are also requested to stay prepared for the Falls’ spray.
Being an active destination, different safari rides – foot, boats, and vehicles – are offered to the passengers. The pontoons and vehicles will be shared by other travelers unless indicated in the journey plan.
Internal flights are likely to make stops to various lodges and camps to pick or drop travelers.
Different meals – a la carte, buffet-style, or set menu – will be served to the travelers (meal selection depends on the location and destination).
Travelers are requested to consult with the booking agent to discuss different options about trip cancellation insurance.
Pricing details are subjected to change or vary until booking confirmation. Supplement single room or solo traveler rates are offered as per client request, if not mentioned in the journey plan.
Hotel check-in and check-out
Mostly, hotel check-in and check-out time is around 3:00 PM to 11:00 AM. Travelers seeking guaranteed late check-out or immediate occupancy may consult Emmarosh Travel Representative for further details. These services are subjected to extra charges.
At the booking time, travelers are requested to share and discuss any special requests with representatives like special dietary requirements, non-smoking areas, smoking areas, connecting, or adjoining rooms, or bedding.
The company will make sure these requests are entertained; however, it is crucial to be aware that guaranteeing these specifics is not in our ability.
Emmarosh Travel keeps the authority to adjust program schedules and itineraries. Such adjustments may include sightseeing, substitute accommodations, facilities, and transportation, including trains, aircraft, and vessels. Changes in program schedules and itineraries may be caused due to unforeseen conditions beyond the company’s control.
The company makes efforts to operate itineraries and schedules as arranged; however, modifications may happen after final itineraries have been given.
Every scheduled touring and sightseeing are discussed beforehand. Still, venues like museums, wildlife reserves, and other tour points may change their operational hours at short notice. Under such circumstances, alternative arrangements will be made by the guide.
International air (traveling from home to the destination and return home) is not included in the program price. Before booking flights, kindly guarantee to confirm with your booking operator about the arrival date and destination and departure date and time to prevent further traveling problems. When you have flights booked, kindly make sure to share a duplicate copy of your flight itinerary to Emmarosh Travel. Sharing this information will help your travel agent to coordinate and plan arrival and departure plans adequately.
For each program, all internal flights are mentioned from the landing price. It is to be noted that flight costs are added to the landing price.
Air for the extensions
Additional land and flight transfers may be required when adding extensions to current programs. These other transfers and flights are excluded from the existing programs unless stated clearly in the program. For pricing and details, please contact Emmarosh Travel.
Every internal air is dependent on economy class. At the final payment, internal air is non-refundable (some exceptions may be applied).
Airfares are liable to vary until the company receives the final installment. The confirmation of flight is dependent upon availability. Air reservation confirmation is subjected to sharing passport copy (the photo page with credentials). For clarity, e-mail copies are more preferred than documents shared via fax. Duplicates sent from your phone are acceptable, if clear.
Air carriers are independent contracting entities, and are not operated, controlled, managed, or owned by Emmarosh. Your air ticket is an agreement between you and the airline. Emmarosh is not responsible for any changes or delays if flights, even if the ticket is bought through us. Emmarosh is not accountable or acknowledge claims for seat assignment, schedule changes, name changes, flight changes, or flight cancellations. All airline cancellation and change fees are applied if you cancel or change the air transportation arrangements.
Emmarosh gives a porterage of two baggage per individual. Travelers must note that journeys, including charter, domestic, or internal flights, may allow baggage limitations to less than two luggage. Restrictions on size and weight may include, or even apply, additional costs.
All details will be shared within the traveler itinerary. Throughout the travel program, personal effects and baggage are subjected to the owner’s risk. The company takes no responsibility for damaged or lost luggage or belongings. Travelers are requested to consult with their international carriers for applicable fees or baggage restrictions for international traveling.
Arrangements and prices
The mentioned program prices are per individual or double occupancy except where stated. Even though it is not expected, published prices, or distributed costs may vary because of sudden critical external components not anticipated when the information was included on the web page. Emmarosh Travel is under no obligation or commitment to breakdown journey expenses. Any adjustments to a Tailor-made schedule, including the number of travelers or dates, will need a revised proposal.
An adult guardian should accompany children under 18. There are different age restrictions for several other activities in the itinerary than the minimum age prerequisite. During booking, all such details will be shared with the client. For gorilla trekking and Mount Kilimanjaro climbing, the minimum age requirement is 15 years and 16 years, respectively.
Dynamic elements and conduct
Several dynamic elements are integrated into selected itineraries. To appreciate the trips as intended, a minimum fitness level is required.
Emmarosh will need prior intimidation if any member has any physical disability or condition that would keep them from participating in different dynamics of any tour or potentially harm themselves or other travelers. The guest shows that neither he/she nor any fellow traveler has any physical disability or condition, potentially damaging themselves or other travelers. Additionally, Emmarosh holds the authority to eliminate accepting travelers not suitable to the excursions because of their fitness level. Any negative conduct or physical condition adversely affecting or disrupting others’ enjoyment is subjected to removal.
Visas and passports
It is the visitor’s sole duty to get and carry, if necessary, appropriate travel documents and credentials. All visitors are encouraged to check with government regulations to determine the essential documents. For US citizens, valid identification and passport is a must to travel international destinations. The passport should be valid at least six months after the return. Plus, it should have sufficient blank pages on the visa for entry/exit stamps.
Additionally, numerous destinations require a visa for US residents; these details will be shared with travelers during the booking cycle. Non-US residents must contact the appropriate consular office for discussing entry requirements relating to the journey. You boarding may be declined/refused, or you may be disembarked from the vessel without a credit, compensation, payment, or refund liability of any kind if the traveler does not have proper/legitimate documentation. The client will be subjected to any cost or fine incurred by Emmarosh due to non-compliance or improper documentation with applicable guidelines.
Reservation and payment schedule
Per person deposit during booking:
During booking, a one-quarter (25 percent) program price deposit is required from the client. For specific destinations or programs, a higher deposit may be required; destinations may include Madagascar, Rwanda, or Uganda. Final payments are expected to be made before departure.
Suppose clients make reservations within four months (120 days) of departure. In that case, the entire trip cost should be outright paid to secure confirmation request. Additional deposits will be required for trains, vessels, plans, including private charters. However, these conditions are exclusive of personal use of venues or accommodations, and groups of more than 15.
For primate trekking in Uganda and Rwanda, a non-refundable permit fee will be needed.
The client must share written cancellations with the company. These intimidations will become effective as per the e-mail receipt date. Received cancellations are subjected to the following specifics:
Cancellation fees per person
- 60 days or less before departure: 100 percent program price;
- 61-90 days before departure: 50 percent program price;
- 91-120 days before departure: 20 percent program price;
- 121 days or more before departure: 10 percent program price per individual.
Guests will be liable for any cancellations or changes made to the itinerary at their solicitation or outside their ability to control, previously, or during travel. Such liabilities may include acquired costs because of a difference, postponement, or cancellation flights. If a guest leaves or cancels a journey and a roommate stays, an extra supplement may be applied to the remaining guest price.
Cancellation charges for internal air
During the final payment time, internal air is 100% non-refundable (some exceptions are applicable).
Cancellation charges for extra services
Extra services or additional night requirements booked with Emmarosh Travel programs are dependent upon explicit cancellation penalties. These will be given during the booking time and mentioned on the invoice receipt.
Claims and refunds
For any missed services, refunds are not made to the clients. This is an exception to the extenuating or verifiable circumstances. Please read the Emmarosh Travel responsibility limit clause mentioned below. The claims and refunds should be received in written form for considering specific, provable claims. These claims and refunds should be supported with proper documentation or claim verification from the local destination company.
Considerations for adjustment will be based on the actual and involved service cost; such references are not based on a per diem basis. For unused meals or sight-seeing trips, no adjustments, claims or refunds will be considered or made. The company will not acknowledge any obligation for any cases not received within 30 days of travel program termination.
Photography during travel
Emmarosh Travel holds the authority to take photos and videos during any program. Or part thereof, these photos or videos may be used for promotions.
By booking the Emmarosh Travel program, visitors consent to permit their pictures to be used in photos and videos. Visitors who prefer not to be featured in these photos and videos are asked to inform their guides before the program start.
Limits on Emmarosh Travel’s responsibility
Emmarosh Travel, its assigns, agents, successors, directors, and employees, do not operate or own any entity or property expected to or provides goods and services for your trips. The company purchases transportation – vessel, train, coach, aircraft, other lodging, hotel accommodations, ground handling, restaurants, and other services from different independent service providers.
Accordingly, Emmarosh Travel is not obligated for any carelessness, negligence, or tenacious demonstration of any such individual or substance, or any third individual. Likewise and without limitations, the company is not answerable for any damage to personal property, inconvenience, death, physical loss, financial loss, or injury due to provisions of goods or services. These aspects may be resulting due to, but not limited to, natural circumstances, or force majeure, sickness, infection, demonstrations of war, civil turmoil, revolt, uprising, or insurrection, animals, strikes or other labor exercises, terrorist or criminal activities, overbooking or downsizing of service administration, food contamination, mechanical or other transportation mechanism failure which may hinder visitor arrival or departure.
In adventure travel, there are numerous inherent dangers involved, resulting in prompt ailment, injury, or even cause death. These dangers are expanded because these excursions happen in distant areas and remote locations, far from immediate medical facilities. Travelers should be wary of all the risks associated with such trips.
Travelers deciding to participate in such activities including, yet not restricted to, animal trips, climbing, high-elevation journey and treks, hot air ballooning, primate trekking, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, whitewater rafting, zip-lining, or any actions deemed by Emmarosh Travel to convey intrinsic danger and risk of genuine disease, injury or death, the visitors should thereof acknowledge and understand that these activities pose different inherent risks. Therefore, visitors should take care of their health and safety at all times and agree with experiencing foreseen or unforeseen experiences because of partaking in these activities. The travelers should consent to deliver Emmarosh Travel and its representatives, employees, agents, and affiliates from any obligation at all related to that.
Further, as consideration for being allowed to partake in these activities, you release the company – Emmarosh Travel – whether known or unknown, from, and consent not to pursue any claims against us. The claims may include, but are not limited to, property damage, activities cancellations because of illness, negligent rescue procedures or operations, injury, or death resulting from your involvement in these activities. This also includes any activities such as transportation to and from the activity site.
In any capacity, whatsoever, the adverse outcomes may not be subjected to the company. Any negligence claims are not to be deemed as willful, reckless, or fraudulent conduct. Equipment defects during the activities should not be used as due negligence claims against us.
You further consent to repay and hold Emmarosh Travel innocuous for any case made against the company by any other person, which (a) linked to your participation or (b) which would be dependent upon the above release and pledge not to sue if you had straightforwardly made the claims yourself.
It is the guest’s duty to be informed and educated about the most current tourism warnings and advisories by alluding to the US State Department’s travel webpage (travel.state.gov) or by telephone 888-407-4747.
In case of the department’s advisory against traveling to the particular location(s) of the trip, should the visitor decide to travel, despite any tourism warning, the visitor accepts all danger of injury, death, or property damage that may emerge out of the events like those prompted or cautioned against.
