Welcome to South Africa, the world in one country. Upon arrival, you are met by the representative of Emmarosh Travel and driven to your hotel. VIP arrangements are included at the airport. Nestled at the base of the magnificent Table Mountain is the captivating city of Cape Town. This exceptionally scenic city is in a class of its own. Some cities boast rich culture, vibrant nightlife, a cosmopolitan atmosphere, and extraordinary architecture, while others boast breathtaking landscapes and extraordinary natural wonders. Cape Town is lucky enough to have all these attractions and so much more. With its bustling waterfront, world-class beaches, award-winning vineyards, and its mountainous surroundings brimming with diverse flora and fauna, Cape Town consistently captivates all who visit. The Silo is a magical space towering above the V&A Waterfront surrounded by the natural wonder of South Africa’s Mother City. The Silo has 28 rooms, including a spectacular penthouse. Each room has been individually designed and decorated by the stylish wand of Liz Biden. Colorful and eclectic pieces juxtapose the modern, industrial architecture. The 6 room categories are based on the room size and the views. The rooms are more spacious vertically than horizontally due to the unique architecture of The Silo and the ingenious design of the pillowed window bays which are one of the key architectural features. The building has been designed by Thomas Heatherwick, Founder and Principal of the London-based Heatherwick Studio. From the outside, the greatest visible change to the building’s original structure is the addition of pillowed glazing panels, inserted into the geometry of the hotel floors, which will bulge outward as if gently inflated. Enjoy a guided City tour plus a visit to the Table Mountain by the cable car ride (weather permitting). When the cable car is in the annual maintenance in the months of July and August, guests will see the spectacular views of the city from the Signal Hill. Spend your day exploring the beautiful Cape Peninsula on a full day tour with your guide. On this excursion, guests will get to see some of the African penguins, ride a funicular and enjoy a wonderful lunch en route. After the excursion, you are taken back to your hotel.

Today you are driven to Cape Town Airport where you board your private charter to Royal Malewane. Upon arrival, you are met and assisted to your lodgings. Enjoy an afternoon safari drives in this magnificent area. Neighboring the Timbavati Game Reserve near South Africa’s northeastern border, the Thornybush Game Reserve boasts over 12 000 hectares of pristine wilderness. Today you are taken to the airstrip where your privately chartered plane bound for Singita awaits! Board your private plane to Singita. Upon arrival, you are met and assisted to your luxurious accommodations. Enjoy your afternoon safari drive.
Adjacent to the Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve is a private premier game viewing destination. It was the first-ever private nature reserve established in South Africa. The landscape features 65 000 hectares of savannah-covered land interspersed with watering holes, dry riverbeds, Lowveld woodlands, and the perennial Sabi and Sand rivers. This spectacular reserve offers exceptional game viewing opportunities with frequent sightings of the renowned Big Five as well as cheetah, zebra, giraffe, and a variety of antelope. Visitors can enjoy excellent wildlife viewing, dining under the stars, guided bush walks and enjoying a stay in some of South Africa’s most luxurious safari lodges.
The new Singita Ebony Lodge, located on the Sand River in the Singita Sabi Sand reserve offers a contemporary take on the classic safari lodge, combining tented camp and bush lodge style. The lodge comprises 12 suites, each with its own private plunge pool. Inspired by the romance and adventure of tented camps and explorers’ abodes, the external walls have been almost completely removed and replaced by canvas and glass to create safari tent-style suites to maximize views, and to allow guests to be immersed in nature. Outdoor pavilion decks – ideal for dining and relaxing – are suspended off the riverbanks as if hanging in the trees.

PRICING INFORMATION

These prices are valid for travel between June – Dec 15, 2020. Christmas and New Year surcharges will apply for any travel between Dec 15 – Jan 15, 2021. These holiday surcharges are NOT included in these rates.

This Royal Program is priced based on a minimum of 4 guests traveling together throughout. If fewer than 4 guests traveling, higher prices will apply.

RESERVATION AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Deposit per person required at time of booking: A deposit of 25% of the program price is required at the time of booking. Final payment is due 120 days prior to departure. If your reservation is made within 120 days of departure, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of the request to secure confirmation.

CANCELLATION CHARGES

Cancellations must be received in writing and will become effective on the date of e-mail receipt. Cancellations received by Emmarosh are subject to the following:

CANCELLATION FEES PER PERSON

121 days prior to departure (or more): 10% of the program price per person.
120-91 days prior to departure: 20% of program price

90-61 days prior to departure: 50% of program price

60 days prior to departure (or less): 100% of the program price

Changes to the Itinerary:

The guest will be responsible for any changes or cancellations made to the itinerary at their request or beyond their control, before or during travel, including expenses incurred due to a change, delay or cancellation of any flights. If a guest cancels or leaves a journey and a roommate remains, an additional supplement may apply to the price for the remaining guest.

CANCELLATION CHARGES FOR INTERNAL AIR

All internal air is 100% non-refundable at time of final payment (some exceptions may apply).

Additional hotel nights and other extra services booked in connection with Emmarosh programs are subject to specific cancellation penalties.
